How can more than two computers be connected without any internet connection?

If the PC's are in remote location sure you need internet or intranet.or else you can make your own Local Area network to share Data

Its like LAN, you can use any network hub/switch to connect computers having same subnet address.
If there subnet addresses are different then u need layer3 device like router or layer3 switch that work as a gateway.
