How do you maintain manual re-order level in MRP1 VB in SAP MM material master?

I have this challenge whereby if I set the MRP to generate the Purchase Requisition (PR) automatically if a Purchase Order is not generated on time then the system will continue to generate more PR automatically such that I may end up having5 PRs in the system. So I want to know how to set manual re-order levels on MRP1 Material Master in such a way that the system will not generate repetitive PR continuously and I also need to check the possibility of having a report that will give stock reorder level indications or indicators of some sort.
