Why house appliances such as smart washer or smart refrigerators are not included in the common commercial smart home services?

House appliances like smart washers and smart refrigerators often require specialized knowledge for integration and maintenance, which may be why they're not commonly included in standard clothes washer repair. These appliances entail complex functionalities that go beyond basic smart home devices, such as light bulbs or thermostats, making their integration more intricate. Smart appliances also need to communicate with different brand ecosystems and require ongoing software updates, adding layers of complexity for service providers.

because these devices are connected via wifi to internet and this concept is called the internet of things - IOT.

As each smart device uses it`s own protocol to communicate with WIFI and  due to  scarcity of unified platform to integrate all those protocol and works properly is a bit tough task. End users need to understand more about protocols to communicate ,which they don`t want. I believe consumer needs a helpful device rather than SMART device.
