What will happen if I use a DC miniature circuit breaker in place of an AC miniature circuit breaker?

It will fail to extinguish the arc, the wires will overheat and cause a fire. Because AC and DC both are having Different Current & Voltage Characteristic so both are Designed as per Arc Extinction Phenomenon but with different ways to stop the Over Current in any circuit.
