Are people naturally competitive?

yes everyone is, but they are differentiated from other on their determination level, there level of interest for the job or any task. and their will to go on the top. 

Most of the human race is born competitive but the scarcity of resources in the universe even stirrs up more of the competition making it more intense in some circumstances. Thanx for the invitation

The personality of each person differs due to environment, experiences, upbringing and breeding, intellect, self esteem and many other things. With this, I can say that not all people are naturally competitive. There are people who look like competitive by the way they talk, respond or act but it is the natural way they behave. Some seem to be competitive because they feel the need to be one. Others may possess this characteristic because they feel that the people around them especially within the group is competing with them. Many people feel competition in the office, at school or even within the family because of insecurities, social differences, recognition and attention.

 

Yes, we do have the instinct in us humans.  Its just that some use it and some take it easy.  Some are interested to grow and some are not.  I have actually met people who are happy where they are and are not interested to grow.  Whereas there are some who are unstoppable.  Also, i have seen some who dont know how good they are and lack confidence.  I love to work with such and see them compete and grow.

WE ARE COMPETITIVE BECAUSE HAVING A DESIRE TO HAVE MORE THAN OUR FELLOWS DROVE US TO WORK HARD AND TO CREATE BETTER WAYS OF DOING THINGS and  we are fundamentally cooperative.

Humans are born competitive and it is like the survival of the fittest , out of several sperms only the competitive one gets through and then the story starts from womb to tomb.....

In general yes, but they are also naturally cooperative.

People are born competitive it's just that the level of determination to succeed varies from individual to individual.

Their best comes from various factors which begins at  home the kind of upbringing and family atmosphere and influence they face and eventually to the kind of friends, mentors, coaches and associates they interact or associate themselves with
