How can you be a leader in your position?

If you are a manager and you want to be a leader you need to act or do as following : 

• Inspire your team
• Unify your employees in one team toward your department or organization goals
• Create followers from your team
• Create leaders from your team whom taking your values as a manner to work and achieve
• Listen to them well and talk to them less
• Inform them that there is no achievements without them
• Use a clear way of organizational communications lines
• Let all your crew know what your goal, work objective is
• Use open door strategy with your team
• Manage by situations and lead by examples
• Celebrate your employees achievements even it is a small one
• Always do not forget to say THANK YOU because your are with us, this magic word with charming smile motivate them forever
• Reward them, and do not forget if they are not existing you can do nothing 
• Exclude an inactive one from your team, and let them proud always that they are a profficianal team among others

Lead by example.  One can be firm but being consistent is very important.

Be a team role player by doing regular information sharing sessions.

Ensure the staff see the bigger picture - where the company is heading  - the future.

Make sure every staff member understand what is expected from him - his performance must be measure-able..

Give credit where due and make changes where deemed necessary.

Be fair, yet certain deadlines or goals are not always negotiable.

By advising new solutions to problems and developing your team to become independent. Your role is to guide your in the right direction.

Set a vision or target, create a strategy to achieve this target, make action plan, communicate all these with your team, clarify who should do what and when, work together with the team, listen them, solve their problems on the way, lead them, recognize and reward success, listen the low performer, try to maximize the performance, measure where you are, be positive, manage the stress, show your team that everything is under control, celebrate the success together.

Always ask questions to get answers and always check for the best in your position.Try to lead by doing extra work,effort and get a full information about the position you'r in.No one can be leader without starting from the base so don't hesitate to start the work from downstairs till you be a great leader.Educate your self and falling means you'r learning so don't ever panic if you'r not on the right track.

if you are a boss dont be a typical boss, think about the people under you while taking any decision that may effect them, when you do this you are a good leader.
