When you try to change things for the better and do things the way they should be done, the very same so-called "boss" who hired you torpedoes your effort and retorts with a pathetic "this has always been the way we do things around here." And if and when you try to fight back and instigate even a modicum of change in an inherently defective system, you get fired a couple of months later for "lack of performance."
