One should not delay meeitng potential investor after meeting at public forum.
One should try to aprroach with best possible professional way of comminication.
Well in any meeting you should always be ready. Know your audience, make them feel like their your friend. Or you know what their going through, their problems and such and that you are the solution. But remember you are not friends just make them feel comfortable as if you are. make them trust you. So you better do your homework and appear as they want and need you to be without them noticing that you are actually trying or just acting. Be trustworthy, confident and calm. Its just like fishing.

Personally I like to contact new acquaintancies within five days of meeting and arrange to meet again in person to get to know one another and to determine where we can be of mutual benefit now or in the future. Building relationships can take time and so devoting the time is the most crucial aspect of this experience.
