Participants in the business buying process.who are the deciders gatekeepers and users.. please describe?

When a business is in the market to buy another business, the deciders are the owners (shareholders) wither it's a publicly owned company or a private business. In some cases the shareholders gets to vote for a representative in the board or committee.
