A big sized convex lens can produce more heat from sunlight according to its diameter. can we use this for purifying sea water?

I seen an video on youtube. they heated an Tungston metal using an convex lens and melted metals using the sunlight. if the metal is immersed in a water. then we can boil the water !!!! so we can purify the water
