If you are about to make a new desktop application using dotNet, Would you use WinForms or WPF with C#? or would you use VC++2017 instead and why?

I will use VC++ 2017 because as the new technology arises, it came with improvements, optimized code and other facilities for developer and for the user.

WinForms and WPF are also good but it depends upon the requirement specification that what kind of application end-user need.
