SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


Support the Finance function by using financial data to analyse, interpret, evaluate, and report financial status and performance of the organization to ensure correct basis for required company reporting as well as prioritising initiatives and right decisions.

Responsibilities:


  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements such as cash flows, accumulated profit & loss, balance sheet etc. in accordance with IFRS.


  • Monitoring monthly net working capital and cash conversion cycle levels.


  • Coordination of audit/review process with external auditors.


  • Supporting the development of controlling and reporting systems.


  • Controlling both statutory and IFRS journal entries.


  • Determining and analysing of key financial indicators such as Operating Cash Flows etc.


  • Checking for variances for any deviations to last year, strategy.


  • Ensure all underlying records are in line with accounting policies.


  • Involve in yearly strategy processes.


  • Ensure costs and expenses are in line with company policy and correctly recorded.


  • Review internal controls to improve control weaknesses, and implement new processes.


  • Work on ad-hoc reports and projects related to HQ requirements, company performance, KPIs, finance systems, processes, and digitalization.

What we look for


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economy, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Engineering, MBA degree will be a plus.
  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in similar positions (audit firm experience preferred).
  • Good knowledge of IFRS accounting and reporting standards in particular consolidations.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Very good analytical, detail orientated skills and logical thinking.
  • Residing in İstanbul.
