How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The main object and purpose of the position is to coordinate, administer, supervise and analyze overall production operations in compliance with the production requirements, corporate strategies, environmental requirements, budget and operation procedures in Erzincan İliç location. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring team coaching and development and for promoting Air Liquide Turkey’s safety, reliability and quality objectives. The incumbent is also considered the Facility Manager as per IMS (Industrial management rules).Daily Production and Maintenance Activities- Organise and follow preventive maintenance activities(mechanical, electrical and instrumental) in cooperation with maintenance team- Establishes a production action plan and makes necessary changes in keeping with effective operations, cost factors, deadlines and requirements of pipeline and merchant customers.
- Establishes production and quality control standards or confers with management personnel to establish them.
- Determines production priorities while considering operation efficiency and cost factors.
- Establishes and follows up on performance indicators and makes sure that productivity goals are met.
- Maintains operation costs aligned with financial objectives. Approves Work Orders.
- Ensures everyone is knowing objectives, and gets feedbacks.
- Builds a positive team spirit.
- Prepares and/or reviews production, quality control and operational reports to determine causes of non-conformity with product specifications and operating or production problems, and determines actions that are to be taken to improve operations.
- Makes sure that products respect specifications and that necessary quantities are available for customers. Assigns and Follows up on action items. Conducts Root Cause Analysis as needed.Team Management- Ensures adequate staff is available.
- Ensures the training and coaching of team members in order to meet local and corporate objectives.
- Establishes development programs for team members and supports them in their efforts to meet quantity and quality objectives. Assists in the development of their career.
- Proceeds with performance evaluation and provides feedback on results attained.
- Establishes communication between management, employees and their representatives.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs and concerns of team members.
- Encourages the sharing of experiences and makes knowledge and know-how accessible.
- Is involved in contractual negotiations with unions and/or with employee committees
Health Safety Environment and Quality:- Demonstrates behaviors complying with process safety and HSE policies of the company and encouraging other personnel to act in this manner. Respects the use of protective equipment. Observes the site conditions in HSE point of view for preventing any hazardous situation during site walk downs, takes instant preventative actions and follows the long-term actions.
- Pays particular attention to procedures regarding permit to work, energy isolations, confined space entry, working at heights and handling of chemicals.
- Takes part in maintaining the plant’s emergency procedures. Performs necessary actions defined in the Emergency Response Plan.
- Leads safety meetings, emergency exercises and contributes to the health, safety, environment and performance objectives of the company. Reports any safety issues to his/her directors.
- Attends site activities regularly on the field to check the application of safety rules.
- Leads incidents analysis, treatment and reporting, and ensures action plan is implemented for
his/her perimeter of responsibility
- Performs safety reporting. Follows safety objectives of the Company and provides input to meet the
objectives.
- Knows and respects all procedures as indicated in the Quality Manual.
- Ensures that all standard operating procedures and safety and environmental plans are followed and
respected. Handles accident investigations and all resulting activities.
- Regularly evaluates safety and environmental plans and implements necessary changes.
Budget Management- Prepares and manages expenses budget (production and maintenance) in accordance with departmental and corporate guidelines.
- Makes proposals to optimize operations. Bases choices on operation expenses.
- Ensures investments profitability. Performs cost analysis and takes necessary measurements.
- Prepares corresponding administrative reports. Issues monthly reporting.
Process Improvement- Suggests means of improving processes and performance indicators.
- Finds means of improving efficiency and reliability.
- Takes part in projects or technical development studies.
- Recommends quality and safety rules, as well as changes to procedures and local action plans.
- Takes active role in application of IMS, ISO standarts and equivalents.
