Quality Control Analyst - Tuzla

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry of a university
• At least 1-3 years of experience with quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or laboratory setting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to the industry (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment to meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
• Ability to investigate, analyze and resolve issues with the ability to follow correct escalation process
• Ability to be flexible and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and causative research skills
• Extremely strong relationship management abilities, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to be exposed to and smell a variety of products, essential oils and raw materials
• High managing skill for multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to read and follow all written and implied directions, policies and procedures
• Must have knowledge of FedEx-DHL package testing requirements, shipping guidelines and instructions
• Advanced in MS-Office applications

• Able to reside in Kocaeli and Istanbul (Asia) region prefably Pendik, Gebze, Tuzla

Responsibilities: 

• Report findings and trends to the Quality Control Manager
• Assist the QC Specialist in sample testing, report writing, data entry, and sample submission to other labs and external vendors.
• Raw materials and finished goods testing.
• Performs routine and non-routine analysis of, raw materials, in-process and finished products during release or stability testing
• Assists in management of test samples, reagents and materials used in the laboratory per approved procedures.
• Performs assays for qualifying raw materials and for release or stability testing of in-process and finished products.
• Perform bench-top analysis of critical quality parameters in accordance with SOP's and control plan.
• May assist in training of other lab techs as needed.
• Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures for Quality Department to meet ISO requirements (where applicable)
• Gather final product and raw materials samples and test within expected time frame and store properly.
• Follow ISO standards, GLP and GMP practices to adhere to company Quality policy.
• May interact with production, maintenance, technology, or other plant personnel to communicate test results, receive guidance, and provide feedback.
• Performs calculations and additional analyses on test results to determine if product is within proper boundaries.
• Responsible for managing laboratory documentation including the creation, issuance, and archiving of test data packets, test requests, and other QC related documentation.
• Perform lab support activities such as supplies inventory management, supplies ordering and replenishing, managing services requests for Lab equipment, kitting, glassware washing, dehydrogenation of labware, autoclaving, and lab wastes removal.
• Pick up, receive, aliquot, and distribute samples to the appropriate laboratories for testing.
• PH measurement, Other analytical qualitative and quantitative determinations
• At the direction of the QC Manager, assist with overseeing the day-to-day operation of the QC Lab while working in cooperation with the Lab Intern, and Senior Lab Specialist to ensure Quality standards are maintained.
• Assists production and R&D with problems related to the quality of samples, process improvement.
• Prepare a variety of samples using relevant methods.
• Understands and follows documents relevant to responsibilities, Work flows, Work Instructions, Checklists, Batch Records, and Logs
• Organize seed samples in storage areas.
• Maintenance and Calibration of lab equipment like, FTIR, XRF, Refractometer, Titrators, Thermometers, pressure gauge.
