Why is this role really critical to us?
• Analysis, design, development and maintenance of Order Management domain products and projects in accordance with the business requirements, technical specifications, internal processes and quality objectives.
• Delivery of the most appropriate solution on-time and with quality after ensuring all end2end requirements of all parties are understood,
• Contribution to planning and high level design of domain projects and products
•Analysing, desining and developing Order Management domain products and projects.
•Following up coding standards, best practices and quality objectives during development
•Supports cost estimation processes for Order Management products and projects.
•Providing suggestions for process improvements.
•Estimates size of backlog items with the squad.
•Delivers detailed functional and technical analysis against backlog items in line with solution designers or software developers in other squads; handshakes on the specifications of the integrations points.
•Deliver end to end solutions based on agreed scope of requirements, in line with VF TR IT’s target architecture and strategy.
•Together with Ops and Infrastructure teams, studies dimensioning for the systems in the domain based on the traffic forecast provided by the business unit
•Works with agile development team to define backlog items (epics, features, user stories, tasks) for the necessary cases
•Supports testers for test case preparation and reviews test cases.
•Provides design support for defects and issues raised by relevant stakeholders regarding the domain under the teams responsibility.
•Prepare and present solution for IT Architecture Board
•Execute RFP/RFQ/RFIs when it’s required in projects and evaluate vendor technical capabilities against business requirements to identify products and/or services
•Works with solution or domain architects to maintain product roadmaps and target architecture
•Reviews and approves vendor design documents; follow-ups vendor development.
•Provide information, training and know-how sharing for Order Management domain.
•Mentoring less experienced team members to improve their skills and vision.
•Bachelor's degree from Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Mathematics Engineering and other related departments
•Knowledge of software technology and development processes
•High level knowledge of Cloud Technologies and MicroService Architecture
•Experience and/or familiarity for below tools and technologies;
-Any unit testing tool
-Java, Javascript
-SQL, PL/SQL and any No-SQL open-source databases like Mongo etc.
-Knowledge or experience on Cloud based Platforms (Openshift, AWS or Azure etc.) is a plus
-Knowledge of container-based development such as Docker is a plus
-Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Nexus is a plus
-Experience on Order Management systems such as Oracle OSM is a plus
-Agile way of working
