We are hiring a Regional Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas AMEA who will be responsible To identify opportunities and support the development of business with Oil & Gas Companies [IOC & NOC] (Downstream, Midstream & Upstream) sectors.

Role Overview:



The primary function of this role will be to build relationships (or leverage those already existing) to sell our value proposition(s) to the influencers and decision makers of these companies. This role will also play a key part in delivering our capabilities in Flare gas to Power solution within AMEA region. The candidate will focus on both “greenfield” and “brownfield” opportunities (new companies and existing companies seeking to update their technology or reduce emissions).

What you’ll do:



Build a robust sales pipeline and forecast that will yield future profitable revenue/ EBITDA streams.
Execute strategic Sales Plan with clear objectives and planned activity; expand business portfolio by winning good quality deals; regularly report progress.
Develop a broad range of excellent relationships across all levels of the prospect base and build strong customer intimacy.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues including bid managers, Engineering, Pricing, Legal and other specialists, and following agreed protocols (“Deal Clinic”, White Paper et al) build and present “Value Propositions”.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues from sale to implementation.
Proactively provide industry and market intelligence to the wider Aggreko community.
Deliver all required reports, forecasts, and CRM updates in a timely manner.
Engage with relevant trade bodies and industry associations.
Attend domestic and international trade shows as directed.
Participate in market sizing, forecasting and budget preparation and work closely with Marketing Team in the context of sector specific campaigns.
Act as a SME Subject Matter Expert point of reference for cross-functional colleagues.

Business & Commercial acumen: understands the O&G Sector , market trends, customer behavior and competitors; able to construct high value complex proposals.

Technical Savviness:



+ Sales expertise - know how to work a sales pipeline, manage, and forecast sales that will lead to revenue growth and build relationships with clients. Full understanding of sales cycle with knowledge of CRM
+ Product/ technology – Fully understanding of flare gas applicable solution with intellectual capability required to understand and articulate how Aggreko’s products and services match customer applications.
Communication & Interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; ability to build strong relationships with clients, industry partners and other stakeholders; able to collaborate well internally.
Negotiation skills: Being able to negotiate complex deals and to apply negotiation methodology to maximize company profit and client satisfaction
Data & Analytical skills: able to analyze sales data and using it to make informed decisions that can improve sales performance; analyze key performance indicators and conducting market research are essential to the job.
Project Management: able to handle multiple projects at once, prioritize workloads and manage tight timelines.

Creativity & Innovation: think outside of the box, identify new opportunities, and developing innovative approaches to drive success is key to success in the role; tenacious and able to challenge the


status quo.*
Customer Intimacy: ability to develop strong relationships with customers and be recognized as credible and trusted advisor able to provide integrated solutions that meet customer’s needs.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:



Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent qualifications
+10 years’ experience in sales, sales management within energy sector
Industry Focus Knowledge: Essential for O&G [Upstream/Midstream & Downstream]
A knowledge of gas to power applications: a must specially flare gas solution including gas analysis and different application over the flare specially power
Strong relation with decision makers within O&G NOCs & IOCs within the region
Education: Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical (Process) Engineering)
Language proficiency: English, Arabic & French (plus point)
Sector experience where applicable: O&G
Successful experience with technically complex new business acquisition.
A comprehensive knowledge of the role’s geography within AMEA region and O&G industry.
A successful track record in high value technically complex B2B sales.
Successful development and execution of Sales plans.
Effective utilisation of sales pipeline management & CRM systems.
Valid Driving license
