SUEZ Middle East HQ is looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to enrich our Business Development Team. Based in Dubai, this pivotal role will contribute significantly to the strategic expansion of SUEZ's operations across the Middle East and Central Asia. We are seeking a dynamic professional who is eager to drive our development initiatives and foster meaningful relationships in these key regions for the Group.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Strategic Business Development:
- Cultivate a network of customers, partners, consultants, and public authorities to enhance SUEZ's market presence.
-Formulate and periodically revise the commercial strategy for each target country, suggesting innovative commercial approaches aligned with the goals.
-Identify and create new business opportunities that in line with the Group's strategic vision.
-Act as a brand ambassador for SUEZ, fostering relationships with the business community and engaging in economic diplomacy.
-Conduct strategic market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends in targeted regions.
-Compelling marketing materials and customer presentations to effectively communicate SUEZ's value proposition.
-Lead SUEZ's participation in regional events, including seminars and panel discussions, and enhance the company's presence on social media platforms.
-Assist with the legal registration process for SUEZ entities with prospective clients and accounts, in close collaboration with the Legal department.
-Evaluate and screen potential partners and clients in conjunction with the Legal team, ensuring alignment with SUEZ's standards and values.
2. Support during the Bid Phase:
-Leverage the sales network and market insights to inform project structuring and bidding strategies.
-Engage in strategic planning to ensure SUEZ's positioning is consistent with its strategy, market constraints, and unique selling points.
3. Coordination of Business Development Activities :
-Coordinate sales efforts by organizing meetings, preparing presentations and Minutes.
-Maintain and update the CRM system with current information on leads and opportunities, ensuring a comprehensive view of SUEZ's regional business development activities
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A master’s degree (or its equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration or Political Science.
- At least one year of experience in international business development, demonstrating a keen understanding of global market dynamics.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Fluency in French will be highly regarded, facilitating effective communication with SUEZ's French counterparts.
- A genuine interest in and understanding of the geopolitical, economic, and business landscapes of the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.
- Insight into the operational needs and challenges of the public utilities (e.g., water, solid waste management) and infrastructure sectors.
- Collaborative and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative to achieve specified outcomes with minimum supervision, working both individually and as a team member
