About the location:
What you will do:
Develop and execute innovative Mediterranean-inspired menus, showcasing the vibrant flavors and diverse ingredients of the region.
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations during service.
Maintain a high level of food quality and consistency through active participation in the preparation and presentation of dishes.
Manage inventory, including ordering ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for revenue growth and cost control.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Ensure that all kitchen operations adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
What you will bring:
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role, with a proven track record in Mediterranean cuisine.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Current experience of Chef de Cuisine for minimum 2 years.
Restaurant pre-opening experience will be an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of Mediterranean culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles (South of France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Moroccan and any additional is a plus).
Creative and innovative approach to menu development, showcasing a passion for Mediterranean cuisine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Culinary degree or certification preferred
