Job Description

To manage, maintain, and optimize the ECM system for efficient operation, ensuring it meets organizational needs and compliance standards.


  • System Installation, Configuration, and Deployment: Lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of the ECM system, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and architecture and oversee the setup process to meet organizational needs.
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain the ECM system post-deployment, including ongoing system administration tasks such as user accounts management, security permissions, metadata configurations, and system settings adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Java Platform Expertise with Web Services Integration: Utilize strong Java development experience and expertise in Java Scripting to develop and maintain custom extensions, plugins, and integrations for the ECM system. Utilize Java-based tools and frameworks for scripting, customization, and system enhancements. Additionally, demonstrate proficiency in integrating web services, including RESTful APIs and SOAP-based services, to facilitate seamless communication between the ECM system and external applications or services. Leverage web services technologies to enhance system connectivity and interoperability, ensuring efficient data exchange and integration within the ECM ecosystem.
  • Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to users, offering assistance in system usage, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Act as a primary point of contact for addressing user queries and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective responses to maintain user satisfaction and system functionality.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the ECM system, including installation guides, configuration manuals, and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to users and stakeholders to facilitate system understanding and support.
  • Training and Onboarding: Conduct training sessions and workshops for users to facilitate effective onboarding and ensure proficiency in ECM system usage. Develop training materials and resources tailored to user roles and responsibilities and provide ongoing support and guidance to promote user adoption and competence.
  • Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure the ECM system to align with organizational requirements and objectives. Design and implement custom workflows, metadata schemas, and automation rules to optimize system functionality and meet specific business needs.
  • Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate the ECM system with other enterprise systems and applications, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability. Develop and implement integration solutions using Java-based tools and frameworks to enhance system connectivity and efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of the ECM system and identify opportunities for optimization. Implement performance enhancement strategies and system optimizations to improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure the ECM system complies with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies, including data privacy, security, and retention standards. Implement governance policies and controls to manage document lifecycle and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ECM and related fields. Proactively identify opportunities for system improvement and innovation and collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements that enhance system capabilities and user satisfaction.
  • User Engagement and Feedback: Engage with users to gather feedback and insights on system usability, performance, and feature requirements. Advocate for user needs within the organization and leverage user feedback to inform system enhancements and prioritize development efforts.
  • Incident Management: Manage and resolve incidents related to the ECM system, following established incident management procedures. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding incident status, resolution progress, and preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proficiency in ECM systems, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of regulatory standards.

Experience Requirements:


  • Candidates with Java development experience is a must.
  • Experience in ECM system administration, with a focus on technical support, system integration, and compliance management.
