Job Description
Responsibility for originating, structuring and executing asset & ECA backed financing transactions for FAB clients globally across the IBG, CCIB and FIG segments and deliver a revenue target in contribution to the overall Global Corporate Finance budget Responsible for developing and implementing the Aviation Industry Business Strategy while engaging with various internal stakeholders to get their buy-in on the strategy. Ensuring that strategy is regularly refreshed and reflective of any market factors As part of leading the business, key role is to lead client engagement to ensure FAB’s lead position in potential transactions and gain customer’s share of mind Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships across the Aviation spectrum including but not limited to Airlines, Lessors, Manufactures, Aviation Banks & and other financiers Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with ECAs globally Responsible for advising clients and structuring bespoke/tailor-made financing solutions to meet the needs of the clients and lead negotiations with clients on key commercial and legal terms Lead Asset & Export Finance advisory mandates selectively undertaken for strategic reasons for key clients of FAB Pricing Asset & Export Finance transactions and seeking GCF/Head of LCM&SF support Lead discussions with Credit on specialised transactions including review of the green light memos, credit memos, specialised waiver and amendment requests and obtain credit approvals Share industry knowledge and updates on current market trends with the Credit team Responsible for developing financing pitch books, term sheets, Responsible for effectively review, negotiate, and conclude, in close co-ordination with lender's and borrower's legal counsels, in house lawyers, financing and security documentation – to ensure compliance with credit approved terms Responsible for cross-sell of other FAB products and services to clients as part of the AF loan offering, i.e. Agency, DCM, interest rate and currency swaps etc. Review existing AF loan book and identify opportunities to secure existing loans business through a combination of refinance and restructuring Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of relevant transactions for League Table submissions, nomination of deal awards for various publications, deal highlights/case studies for internal circulation etc. Prioritise and actively seek to structure Asset & Export Financing under a Sustainable finance structure Act as a role model for more junior members in the wider team and responsible for training any direct and indirect reports
Budgets and Plans
Contribute to the overall Global Corporate Finance budget and identify any performance gaps with suggestions to rectify and improve performance Responsible for building Asset & Export Finance assets and achieving budget via P&L with fee income as one of the key measures of performance
Internal Collaboration
Maintain strong internal relations and collaborate with Coverage partners (Corporate & Investment Banking, Financial Institutions Group etc.) to maximise idea generation, product development & revenue generation opportunities Build and develop strategic relationship with Credit and proactively engage with them to achieve a positive decision on proposed transactions
Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures
Assist with the implementation of departmental policies, systems, and procedure so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality and cost-effective service.
MIS and Reports
Supervise the team to provide accurate departmental statements and reports to meet FAB’s and departmental requirements, policies, and standards

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
10+ years of experience in managing and facilitating corporate finance business in the international and local banking environment of
Successful candidate should have relationships and knowledge in/of the Aviation sector
Deep understanding, working knowledge and contacts in international Aviation debt markets and syndicated loan markets
