Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fintech Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in the heart of the Computer Software industry. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing cutting-edge software solutions that are redefining the delivery of financial and other services. You will collaborate with a passionate team to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications that drive innovation in the financial services industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement complex and scalable fintech & web software solutions, utilizing industry-standard frameworks and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions.
- Implement and maintain APIs and software components following established protocols and ensuring high performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues independently and collaboratively, delivering timely and effective resolutions.
- Champion quality assurance by adhering to best practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring software meets all defined standards.
- Continuously improve software performance and efficiency through code optimization, performance analysis, and implementation of new technologies.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the fintech space, actively researching and proposing solutions to improve functionality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience developing software applications in a fintech or financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue JS, React), and .NET framework (C# or Java are additional advantages).
- Working knowledge of financial systems and processes is a strong plus.
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures and microservices is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
