Job Description:
Passionate and knowledgeable about specialty coffee and restaurants service
Develop and lead in-store training classes for coffee and services
Collaborate with restaurant leadership to provide support, feedback, and coaching in the Certification of Trainers process.
Provide hands-on, on-site operational excellence training for various roles within the restaurant, highlighting job-specific training, customer service standards, food & beverage product knowledge, compliance & safety, and systems.
Conduct in-store visits to audit hospitality, service steps, product knowledge, salesmanship, operational effectiveness, cleanliness, safety, and ambiance.
Collaborate closely with the Training & Beverage Department and Operations teams to coordinate enterprise training strategy.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 7-years’ experience working in specialty coffee
Minimum 3 years in management in training or managerial role in a restaurant / speciality coffee
Flexible working hours as you will be expected to work weekends and some evenings, depending on the businesses needs n excellent communicator and influencer with strong interpersonal skills
Able to closely engage various groups of coffee professionals at all levels of experience
Be approachable, friendly and charismatic at all times
Devoted to educating, leading and encouraging coffee development with all staff
Highly confident and experienced in delivering and training consistency, quality and speed across all locations
Able to jump behind a machine during peak periods of trade
A self starter who is continuously innovating and looking towards the next challenge
