Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Liferay and Front-end Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Liferay and Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Liferay portal technology and modern front-end frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients and users.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain web applications using Liferay portal technology.
- Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Integrate third-party systems and APIs with Liferay portal.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in Liferay development and front-end development.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in developing web applications using Liferay portal technology.
- Strong proficiency in front-end development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with other CMS platforms or e-commerce systems is a plus.
