Job Description



3. KEY RESPONSIBILITY



- Develop and communicate the PMO's vision, mission, and strategic goals and align the PMO's objectives with the overall business strategy.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the PMO team and other project managers.
- Establish and implement the PMO structure, processes, and methodologies and define project management standards, policies, and procedures.
- Prioritize and allocate resources across projects based on organizational priorities and conduct regular portfolio management reviews and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to quality standards by implementing best practices for project management and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with functional managers to ensure the availability of skilled resources and develop resource management processes to maximize efficiency.
- Communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues and foster a culture of transparency and accountability within the PMO.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with executives, business units, and other departments to ensure alignment and address concerns and expectations from stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the PMO and implement best practices and lessons learned from completed projects.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging project management methodologies by creating baseline data collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to gain insights.
- Translate Business requirements into data and Analytics Solutions by using relevant Data Engineering, Analytics, and Visualization Applications.
- Continually improve ongoing reporting processes while Automating and Streamlining self-service support and access to Datasets.

4. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES



Project Management - Project Management – + Project Planning : Clearly defines time frame standards, guiding others to accurately predict timelines and costs to ensure appropriate planning and satisfaction.
Project Management - Project Monitoring and Reporting + Creating Performance Objectives : Develops indicators and strategic dashboards to measure performance targets by translating visions, strategies, and performance targets.
+ Developing Project Plans : Integrates timelines and milestones across projects, identifying areas of synergy or dependency and prioritizes action items across multiple project plans.
+ Following Up on Project Progress : Recognizes and rewards appropriate resource utilization and creative suggestions to gain efficiency in resource usage.

Project Management - Resource Planning and Optimization



Identifying Needs : Reviews skill and expertise requirements across the department or multiple teams and ensures that enough people are trained or cross-trained to achieve work goals. Project Management - Technical Communication and Presentation + Understanding Complex Information : Breaks down complex information (e.g., legal, operational risk, and regulatory data) into understandable terminology and actionable concepts.
+ Developing Communication Materials : Uses technical knowledge and expertise to generate comprehendible, broadly-applicable communications, based on new and non-typical data.
+ Tailoring Communications to Audience : Designs differentiated technical communications (content focus, style, presentation, etc.) for various internal and external audiences, based on an understanding of their differing levels of familiarity with technical language.
