Mechanical Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with a solid background in building construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. This role requires a professional who can create detailed drawings that meet the requirements of our projects and comply with UAE regulations.

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  
• Work closely with mechanical engineers and project managers to translate concepts and information into detailed technical drawings.
  
• Ensure all mechanical drawings comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  
• Revise, update, and maintain mechanical drawings throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating changes as directed by engineers.
  
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to prepare drawings and layouts with precision and accuracy.
  
• Coordinate with other draftsmen and project team members to ensure consistency in design documentation.
  
• Participate in project meetings to provide updates on drawing progress and to discuss challenges.
  
• Manage and archive drawings and documentation efficiently, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 4 years of UAE experience in building construction, specifically in mechanical drafting.
  
• Proficient in CAD software, with a strong emphasis on AutoCAD and Revit.
  

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems design and drafting principles.
  
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, standards, and regulations related to mechanical engineering.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce error-free drawings.
  
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering and architectural drawings.
  

• Currently located in the UAE or willing to relocate.
  
• Willingness to work extra hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
