The Head-Business Analytics is primary responsible for identifying strategic needs and directions for Organization as well as leading and managing day-to-day analytics operations. In addition, the Head- Business Analytics will drive the identification and articulation of opportunities and challenges in order to optimize business unit performance; contribute to strategic initiative progression and realization; identify opportunities for improving Hospital Performance.
Decision Support for Senior Management • Drives the identification and articulation of opportunities and challenges in order to optimize Organization’s performance by continually reviewing and analyzing hospital data to model trends, identify relationships or spot opportunities; thinking outside the box and reviewing business information ; preparing compelling and clear data, reports, and presentations to share findings with other business leaders.
• Contributes to strategic initiative progression and realization by providing leadership for analytical initiatives; attending business planning meetings and strategy reviews and summarizing findings; and applying knowledge from background area of expertise to special projects.
• Work with CEO, COO, CIO, CFO, CMO and Finance Head and Business Heads to present analysis on business gaps and other analysis to the top management to enable strategic decision making
Management of Reporting Structure
• Identifies opportunities for improving Hospital’s performance by staying abreast and knowledgeable of industry trends and events that may/will impact business performance (including subscribing to and reviewing industry reports, and visiting clients
• To prepare dashboard for the top management on Hospitals’ service line
• To generate the activity data required for forecasting, budgeting and budget monitoring
• To contribute to establishing the state-of-the-art reporting based on the hospital information system
Management of Business data Analysis.
• To ensure all health information is complete accurate, timely and protected as well as to be committed to improving the standards of health information
• Manage and Direct Analysis of the data and provide inputs to strategic decision of the organization
Maintain Cross Department Skill share • Liaise with marketing to identify, customer markets/segments; and assisting with building the business case for needed investments and strategic plans to deliver planned results.
• Work as one team with clinical and administrative staff , providing them with key data and interpretation as needed for performance improvement
Manage and develop Performance Indicators • To determine the indicators required to monitor the hospital strategy and operations and develop a performance plan based in organization and departmental objectives
• Initiate and maintain a mechanism to periodically report KPI
Departmental Level Responsibilities • Manage and train the team as required to deliver desired outcomes
• Develop task-oriented approach to the department.
• Maintain and encourage teamwork and cohesiveness
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
Master’s degree (preferred):
Required:
6-8 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role with 3 years of supervisory experience
Desired:
Experience in a large healthcare facility
