Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment. You will work closely with the production team to optimize production efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure the quality of the products. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise during the production process and implementing solutions to improve productivity and reduce waste. In addition, you will collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality control, to ensure that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet production targets.
2. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
3. Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
4. Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
5. Collaborate with maintenance and quality control departments to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
6. Train and supervise production operators to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
7. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
8. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
9. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in production technology.
10. Prepare production reports and present findings to management.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Production Engineer or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Ability to analyze and interpret production data and make data-driven decisions.
6. Good understanding of quality control principles and practices.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
