Sales Manager – Pipeline EMEA

As a Sales Manager – Pipeline EMEA, you will be responsible for:


  • Developing and implementing regional pipeline sales strategies
  • Managing and motivating a team of experienced technical sales advisors across Europe, Middle East and Africa
  • Negotiating and closing large scale profitable business opportunities
  • Understanding and articulating value propositions for discrete services and combined solutions
  • Conducting technical presentations within small and large groups, understand market drivers.
  • Developing deep client relationships with individual accounts and in sales region.
  • Working with existing customers with the intent of enhancement of business relationships and experiences
  • Generating and review technical proposals in compliance with client requirements and company abilities.
  • Supervising and guiding the selling activities of others.  Review of specific selling tactics, strategies, and goals to ensure they align with overarching company strategies. 
  • Providing day to day consultation and training as it may be required to other sales personnel with the intent of technical knowledge and general salesmanship improvement. 
  • Encouraging and coaching team approaches to appropriate opportunities to nurture higher probabilities for successful outcomes.
  • Developing, maintaining and delivering on quarterly forecasts
  • Participating in both internal and external customer activities as required
  • Traveling to locations in a timely fashion to achieve targeted success.  Be available to support selling activities of others as deemed necessary.
  • Maintaining firm commitment to our Guiding Principles.
  • Managing performance of other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have


  • 5+ years direct sales management experience with preferred technical/functional knowledge in In-line inspection technologies, onshore, subsea, loading and marine pipelines and asset integrity/reliability solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills in order to manage a team of regional salespeople.
  • Strong technical and commercial negotiation skills in order to present and deliver information to highly trained personnel leading to closure of profitable business.
  • Demonstrated sales experience with cross-functional and large-scale sales opportunities, Service line, or Integrity Services management experience.
  • Be self-driven, highly motivated, conduct themselves with diplomacy and can maintain confidentiality.
  • willingness to travel internationally and without restriction for extended period as may be required to generate defined outcomes.  Estimated at 50% or more of available working time.
