Our success and sustainability are only made possible by continuing to develop our assets and technology through innovation and collaboration, and importantly through the development and diversity of our people who every day ‘Make Incredible things Happen’ At Subsea 7.Key ResponsibilitiesTo assist in defining process and tools to gather SCM resource needs from Projects, Tenders, Studies for “Global Projects Centre” and to define our overall resource plan.The resource plan is a tool to define our recruitment plan, allocation of SCM resources between Projects, Tenders, Studies and department overhead activities.This will be used for budgeting purpose and monthly forecast update.Candidate is expected to liaise with Internal stakeholders as required.Duties would also cover extensive data analysis in MS Excel.The SCM Trainee will be given training to be develop as SCM Specialist after confirmation.Formal training coursesThis is organized locally in Dubai and virtually as well. This provides the opportunity to gain deeper insights of some key aspects related to Supply chain function.MentoringYou will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to help you achieve targets and goals.Personal developmentYou will participate in project tasks to challenge your presentation and team building skills. Also network with other Subsea 7 personnels in different locations.Applications are now sought from degree qualified candidates who are holding a bachelor’s degree preferably in one of the following:Supply chain managementEngineering with a related commercial subjectCandidates who are committed to a career choice in the energy industry and possess the following qualities: Presents themselves in a professional manner appropriate to the role. Articulates views in comprehensive manner. Produces work of presentable quality. Able to communicate with impact. Initiative, independent and personal responsibility. Good organizational skills and smart working methods. Team player. Flexibility. Project orientated.Professional Qualifications & ExperienceNo required years of experience.Degree holders (engineering, Supply Chain plus but not mandatory).Proficient in English, with very good oral and written communication skills.Excellent analytical skills.Great attitude and willing to learn.Great team work.MS Excel (Good skills is an advantage, Word, Powerpoint).SAP (plus skill but not mandatory).Ability to travel upon request for periods up to 1 month.Personal SkillsCreative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of workingSound communication skills – able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.The ability to work in a team as well as individually with a minimum of supervisionThe ability to organize and prioritize own work and as such have responsibility for discrete work packages ongoing simultaneouslyUnderstanding of clients’ needs and ability to suggest and apply “fit for purpose” solutionsOUR OFFER We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
