Job Purpose:
The Senior Communications Manager will possess extensive experience in managing international, multi-stakeholder communication strategies, with a proven track record of success in defining and executing multi-dimensional communication plans. The role requires exceptional leadership capabilities to supervise multiple agencies and ensure the implementation of communication strategies aligns with set KPIs. Additionally, a strong understanding of brand positioning tactics, stakeholder engagement, and global media landscapes is crucial.
Key Accountabilties:
Develop and Execute Communication Strategies: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies that effectively engage international stakeholders. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and KPIs.
Agency Management: Supervise and coordinate with multiple agencies to ensure the successful implementation of communication plans. Provide clear direction, monitor progress, and evaluate performance against predefined metrics.
Brand Positioning and Messaging: Utilize strong understanding of brand positioning tactics to enhance messaging and content across various communication channels. Maintain consistency in messaging to strengthen brand identity.
Stakehlder Engagement: Proactively engage with stakeholders to enhance thought leadership and increase visibility of the organization. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
Media Relations: Maintain a strong understanding of the global and regional media landscape. Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets to secure coverage and enhance the organization's reputation.
Content Development: Demonstrate strong English copywriting skills adaptable to various communication channels. Produce high-quality content for press releases, articles, presentations, and other communication materials.
Event Management: Coordinate communication efforts for exhibitions and conferences, ensuring effective promotion and representation of the organization's interests. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize impact.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about trends and developments in the energy industry. Apply industry knowledge to communication strategies and effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 6 years' experience managing international, multi-stakeholder communication strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Strong organization, time management, and productivity skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to independently manage key stakeholders.
Proactive Approach: Proactive in approach, with a good sense of judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Team Player: A good team player with the ability to work independently when required.
