SENIOR PLANNING MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning support for multiple small/ medium projects or a single large/ complex project
• Management & coordination of project planning teams. Identification of future staffing requirements.
• Represent the company for planning-related matters in client meetings
• Prepare and deliver planning presentations to senior management and client teams
• Provide comprehensive planning support for Extension of Time
• negotiations with Client

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Broad construction experience across various sectors and a very good
• understanding of specific work types.
• Able to develop a WBS for a large/ complex project
• Proven success in Extension of Time claims work using different delay
• analysis techniques
• Lean Planning/ Pull Planning
• Knowledge of Risk Management
• Preparation of resource & cost-loaded baseline programmes, recovery
• programmes, target programmes etc. for large/ complex projects.
• Manage project planning team including all 3rd party planners (JV Partners,
• SCs, Design Teams etc.) to meet all project planning requirements.
• Proactively provide feedback and contribute in the development of
• company planning procedures
• Implement and support the use of Last Planner system on projects
• Regularly perform risk analysis using Primavera software and
• Primavera - very good skills
• MS PowerPoint - very good
• Primavera Risk Analysis

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  Candidates MUST be immediately available and currently based in the UAE
• Post-graduate qualifications relating to planning are a plus
• 15+ years minimum experience working in mixed use projects
• Good knowledge of English
