1. Provide advisory and technical opinion to strategic management and support on the production of Quality, health, safety and sustainability documents and management plans


2. Evaluate and assess Quality, health, safety and sustainability plans and execute initiatives aligned with RTA strategies


3. Contribute to sector effectiveness through planning, supervising implementation and monitoring the performance and continual improvement of quality, health, safety and sustainability management systems and excellence relevant to employees, customers, suppliers, contractors and all other applicable stakeholders in accordance with all applicable operational plan, policies, processes, procedures, guidance application, objectives, targets and KPIs within the sector, and guide the achievement of targeted results in each key performance areas as outlined in the quality, health, safety and sustainability management systems and excellence plan.


4. Lead the identification and development of Quality, health, safety and sustainability Operational Plan, policies, procedures, guidance application, objectives, targets and KPIs in line with sector practices.


5. Mentor, guide, direct and advise the sector’s departments participation in DGEP, EFQM and national and international awards and other related activities.


6. Lead and performquality audits, workplace and system safety audits, audits, energy audits, green audits, polices audit, admin order audits, leadership visits, on-site inspections and management review meetings to address specific quality, health, safety and sustainability issues, and present in depth analysis and advise on remedial recommendations towards the goals of RTA and objectives & targets of the sector, and ensure their implementation by the sector.


7.Provide advisory and technical opinion on monitoring measures necessary to ensure compliance with RTA Corporate quality, health, safety and sustainability management systems and excellence policies, standards, programs, plans, strategies, prevailing regulations, Legislation and Codes of Practice, applicable laws and decrees, and international standards relevant to the sectors’ departments, and advice on the identification of benchmarks and trends to support continual improvement of quality, health, safety and sustainability management systems and excellence. In addition, provide advisory and technical opinion to all concerned to enable them abreast of changes in health, safety and sustainability Legislation and Codes of Practice.


8.Evaluate and assess the sector performance effectiveness and lead the implementation of recommended improvement strategies for Quality, health, safety and sustainability management systems and excellence requirements in alignment with relevant ISO standards, EFQM and DGEP requirements including performance of contractors, consultants, partners and suppliers and other stakeholders involved with the sector.


9.Lead quality, health, safety and sustainability systems and processes to enable timely quality, health, safety and sustainability reporting and in-depth analysis. In addition, provide advisory and technical opinion to ensure relevant corrective action plans are created and implemented as per the requirements based on clearly defined root cause analysis.


10. Lead the development and implementation and reporting of quality, health, safety and sustainability trainings and awareness programs for all employees and other stakeholders internally and externally, and advise on adequate staffing and training of resources to support quality, health, safety and sustainability as per identified needs and requirements. In addition, develop and deliver all training needs and knowledge sharing / transfer relevant to quality, health, safety and sustainability management systems and excellence within the sector.


11.perform in depth data statistical analytics and present insightful progress report on all matters related to excellence program, quality, health, safety and sustainability, and contribute with technical opinion to support management with informed decision.


12.Lead and advise on assigned cross functional improvement activities.


13.Contribute to the promotion of continual improvement culture for Quality, health, safety and sustainability management systems and excellence in accordance with relevant ISO standards, EFQM and DGEP.


14.Advice on the creation, implementation, maintenance and testing of business continuity plans and relevant risk, business impact analysis, threat assessment, strategies within the sector.


15.Lead and participate in disaster recovery and emergency preparedness processes (internal and external) for continuity of operation through provision of technical opinion related to continuity of supply related to systems and other required resourceswith alternate arrangements and integration of disaster plan that respond to each defined scenario / emergency.


16.Perform in depth analysis and report all accidents and/or potential hazards and safety cases, and lead all accidents/incidents/emergencies investigations, and contribute in the identification of proper mitigation/corrective/preventive actions within the stipulated time and as per the accidents investigation system procedures and other requirements.


17.Lead the communication, consultation, interpretation & effective implementation of quality, health, safety and sustainability policies, procedures and practices internally with employees and externally with other stakeholders in all locations and perform the required site visits to ensure compliance with applicable requirements by employees and all other stakeholders.


18.Evaluate and assess contractors, consultants and engineers’ compliance with all quality, health, safety and sustainability related legal and other requirements, and present in-depth analytical report.


19.Advise on the development, implementation and maintenance of quality, health, safety and sustainability Management Systems’ hazard, risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation plans, and deterministic safety assessments to ensure relevant corrective action plans are in place.


20.Participate in formulating best-practices, policies and procedures related to quality, health, safety and sustainability within the sector.


21. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate. 



EDUCATION


-Bachelor’s in quality, Business Administration, Masters preferred from a recognized University.



EXPERIENCE


-8 years of related working experience



KEY SKILLSETS


·Suitable professional experience in Quality, Excellence, Auditing and evaluation on Excellence and Quality Program, Occupational Health, Safety and / or Environmental (ISO standards, EFQM, DGEP).


·Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requirements, of the requirements for the use of personal protective equipment for chemical hazards, requirements for hazardous substances, and the impact of hazardous waste operations on worker safety and health.


·Knowledge and application of principles, concepts, and requirements of environmental risk assessment.


·Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.


·Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
