Specification Manager - Dubai 


Reporting to: VP, Commercial Middle East & Gulf


Position Overview:
As the leader of the Specification Manager at MEG Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's commercial strategy. Your responsibilities include establishing and managing the Specifications, CRM, and Key Account Management (KAM) platforms. You will be accountable for driving growth, maximizing project opportunities, and ensuring alignment with company objectives across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and lead the Specification Division, overseeing the Specifications, CRM, and KAM platforms.
- Set quarterly and annual targets for the team members, collaborating closely with the sales force.
- Develop and implement pre-sales targets for different territories in coordination with local sales teams.
- Motivate and guide the specifications and CRM teams to achieve their goals effectively.
- Organize educational sessions and seminars for key segments, fostering relationships and promoting product knowledge.
- Monitor project potential and tendering activities, providing regular updates to the sales force.
- Expand networks and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, developers, and consultants.
- Continuously evaluate performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide training on new products and technologies in collaboration with the marketing department.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new project opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales force and distributors to secure new accounts and drive revenue growth.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, information systems engineering, or architecture.
- 10 to 15 years of managerial experience in the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of CRM programs and BIM applications.
- Proven track record in key account management and specifications.
- Familiarity with the Middle East construction market and cultural dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a competitive environment.
Performance Metrics:

- Achievement of quarterly and annual pre-sales objectives.
- Success in specifications management and CRM effectiveness.
- Development and management of key accounts.
- Establishment and maintenance of relationships with influencers and stakeholders.
- Successful execution of educational events and programs.
