As an Automotive Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive electrical systems, diagnostic tools, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve electrical issues in vehicles, including but not limited to wiring problems, malfunctioning components, and electrical system failures.
perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Repair and replace vehicle components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and electronic control units.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in Tesla vehicles.
Install, repair, and replace electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, and lighting systems.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on Tesla vehicles.
Replace or repair faulty components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and other electrical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair preferred.
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably specializing in electric vehicles or Tesla vehicles specifically.
ASE certification or Tesla-specific certification is a plus.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
