Job Title: Sales & Marketing Director
Location: Bahrain
Package: up to 3,500 BHD per month all-inclusive, plus family status
I'm currently supporting an amazing hospitality group, in Bahrain, with their search for a Sales & Marketing Director.
The group have a number of incredible concepts under their banner, and have been able to organically expand across the Kingdom. That being said, they are now actively looking to bring on-board the person who will be responsible for accelerating their next wave of growth across the region.
This role will be reporting directly into C-Suite management, and the focus will be more towards Sales & Business Development - with Marketing operations falling under this person's remit.
You'll be managing a team of 3, and you'll not only be responsible for everything F&B but you'll also be responsible for helping to scale & grow the businesses catering & events operations too.
Ideally we're looking for someone from an internationally known F&B/hospitality group (ideally independents), however, we can consider those from a hotelier background should they be heavily involved with F&B Sales.
Arabic speaking candidates will be strongly preferred.
The Must Haves:
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar related field.
- 5-8 years tangible experience in sales.
- Management experience handling people.
- Displayable understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.
- Strong analytical, organizational and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and guest facing skills in both Arabic and English.
- Knowledge on data analysis and report writing.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain team morale
- Ability to recognize works done by their team and promote positive open thinking environment.
- Regional GCC experience, successfully operating within similar roles.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Promote existing brands and introducing new products to the relevant market.
- Analyzing budgets, preparing annual capital request budgets plans, scheduling expenditures and delivery of the company approved ROI on the sales and marketing investment budget.
- Will have responsibility for Catering.
- Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding our guest requirements, identifying market trends and suggest improvements to achieve company goals.
- Gather, investigate and the ability to summarize market data and trends to reports.
- Strong presentation skills to key stake holders and business leaders.
- Implementing new sales plans and negotiate company's preferred rates in advertising.
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching and managing the S&M team including the call centre in line with both the Company and the country’s law.
- Maintain relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understand their needs and anticipate opportunities.
- Manage company's call centre and its labour cost with results driven KPI’s
- Staying current in the hospitality industry by attending any and all award, group gathering conference, workshops and networking events when they arise.
- Increase brand equity value and all associated brands within the portfolio.
