Caritas Czech Republic (CCR) is a stable Czech non-governmental organization with over 20 years of experience. The work of CCR is based both in Czech Republic and in dozens of the countries abroad. Within its existence, CCR implemented emergency relief and development aid programmes in more than 20 countries. CCR has been committed to immediate humanitarian relief to support those in urgent need and protect people’s dignity, while creating longer term opportunities for sustainable growth hand fulfilling people’s potential. CCR programmes focus on delivering long-term aid to people living in poverty and deplorable living conditions to alleviate their distress and support them in the recovery period to be able to build back better. In countries across Africa, Asia and Europe it conducts development programmes, whose aim is to improve the access of the local population to education, health care and livelihood.
