Established in 1985, Contrack International, Inc. is a privately owned and operated U.S. business headquartered in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with offices and long-standing affiliates around the globe. Over the past two decades, Contrack has steadily increased its revenues as well as expanded its personnel and equipment resources and has been listed as one of the Top International Contractors in the world (as ranked by ENR Magazine) for the last 10 consecutive years. In 1997, Contrack created an Engineering Division to ensure the highest levels of control over engineering design, shop drawings and quantity surveying systems. Since it was formed, the Engineering Division has earned a reputation in its own right and now performs a variety of architectural and engineering services to Fortune 500 companies as well as Government agencies. In 1998, Orascom Construction Industries (OCI), the largest private construction company in Egypt acquired 45% of Contrack International, Inc., a move designed to combine the abilities and resources of both companies.
