In Tunisia, COOPI is officially registered and recognized by the local authorities. Since 2017, COOPI has been conducting several assessments and is about to submit a few proposals to possible donors to be able to be fully operative on the field. COOPI’s mandate in Tunisia is to contribute to empowering the economical and social development of the country, social cohesion and education with focus to vulnerable regions, integration of vulnerable groups and youth through access to work and reinforcement of small and medium enterprises. COOPI delivers its activities in deep cooperation with the civil society and with the Tunisian institutions. In Tunisia, COOPI needs to finalize the work done so far regarding the institutional registration and to go on building new project proposals. With reference to Libya, COOPI has finalised his registration and it has been offically recognized by national authorities in 2021.
