Data Media Systems (DMS) has been established since September 2000, and has become the information source of choice for energy companies, contractors, manufacturers, service providers & governments. DMS was created to provide concise in depth information for companies looking for project related business opportunities within the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, water & desalination industries. The DMS database is an essential business tool for manufacturers of equipment as well as engineering and construction companies. It is also a useful data source for reference libraries, research institutes, publications, energy portals and government export promotional institutions. DMS has developed an innovative software that allows it to provide this information quicker and more accurately than any trade journal. Additionally, their unique offline system allows users to monitor information even when internet access is unavailable. DMS has also created a website www.datamediasystems.net where people can access the project information reports online. DMS are currently tracking over 450 projects in the GCC & Egypt. In each country DMS identifies a project and provides the user with information on the Status, Schedule, Scope of Work, Project Structure and the contact details of the Key Personnel involved. DMS also provides information on the local oil companies & the industrial facilities of these countries. The sources of information for the programme come directly from the project owner, or the contractor who is executing the project. Only primary sources are used. DMS is an international company with offices in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt & South Africa. By end of 2004 DMS plans to be covering energy projects in the whole Middle East & all of Africa.
