Pure Water was established in 1993 by Mr. Farouq Ajjouri and has since grown to build a reputation for consistent quality delivery of products and services for water and wastewater industries throughout Jordan and Iraq. In 2000, Mr. Farouq Ajjouri retired, handing over the ownership and management of Pure Water to the next generation of the Ajjouri family who continues to develop the business based on a strategy of sustainable growth and always remaining true to Pure Water Group’s values. After initial success in the Jordan market, the Company expanded into the UAE market in 2001, originally as Pure Water Technology under the Management of Mr. Dia Ajjouri. In 2003, having identified the water industry as a key growth area, Pure Water Technology sought to expand its service offering by forming a joint venture with the operation specialists Water & Electricity Technology Company (WETCO). This joint venture successfully leveraged the expertise and resources of both parties to provide a one-stop shop for design, build and operate (DBO) services for water and wastewater treatment plants. In 2009, Pure Water acquired 100% ownership of WETCO, which was then re-branded Pure Water. In 2009, Pure Water successfully awarded and completed a major EPC project with ADSSC, The success of the contract has been followed by further major Design and Build contracts in the water and wastewater sector. Pure Water operates throughout the UAE.
