QPMC Was established on the instruction of the Qatar Government in 2006 to ensure supplies of Building Materials for the local consumers. The Company has begun operations in the following areas: QATAR PORTS MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT COMPANY Established to assist importers with the shipping of aggregates through the port system to ensure minimum delay. Fully experienced management teams and highly trained operators have been improving the rates of discharge since June 2007. SAHARA WASHED SAND A large new sand wash plant has been constructed to produce a high quality washed natural sand to meet all Qatar and International Quality Standards. This plant is due to be operational by June 2008. NIJIAN SAND Since May 2007, the company has been supplying high quality dune sand, for fine works such as plastering, from locations South of Doha near Sealine resort.
