Founded in 1984 with annual production capacity of 5000 tons, Rajhi Steel is headquartered in Riyadh – Saudi Arabia. Rajhi Steel was established when the Founder, late Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi, decided to establish this industrial landmark in Saudi Arabia. The debut rebar production lines started commercial operation in 1996 in Riyadh. The first expansion of the Steel Billets plant was launched in Jeddah in 2006 and the Rolling lines in 2007. With the growing demand for steel products amid industrial revival and a comprehensive urban boom witnessed by the Kingdom years ago, Rajhi Steel was embarked in the construction of a new rolling plant in Jeddah, which operation went on-stream in the third quarter of 2012. The new plant added a production capacity of one million tons, supplying local markets needs of various types of steel in different sizes. Rajhi Steel boosted its annual production capacity to more than two million tons, to become the preferred company worthy of the generations’ confidence within industry and construction sectors in the Middle East and North Africa.Company Profile
