Taameer is a Public Limited Company (PLC) located in Amman, Jordan and established in 2005 with a paid capital of JD212 million which is equivalent to ($300 million). As the largest public offering of its kind in the history of the Jordanian capital market, the Taameer IPO was intended to place 53 million shares amounting to 25% of its total capital. The huge influx of demand for Taameer shares resulted in the successful closure of its Initial Public Offering for a total amount of JD760 million which is equivalent to (US $1.086 billion). Incompliance with his majesty king Abdullah vision in spotting Jordan as the new Middle East leading investment country in the region, Taameer undertook several leading projects in different real estate sectors as part of its vision to extend its business to target several slices of the Jordanian society. Improving the overall quality of life and achieving high returns on investment for Taameer shareholders. Taameer subsidiaries companies are Al-Andalucia Residential & Tourist projects and Al-Qabas Real-Estate development, by which Taameer owns 100% of the shares of both companies. Taameer has invested in tourism, residential and commercial projects. Amongst its list of projects are Andalucia Village, Red Sea Resorts, Al-Rawda Village in Madinat Al-Sharq and Ayla Park Plaza. Taameer will develop several residential and tourism projects, as well as commercial and industrial areas across the Kingdom, thus catering to the demands and needs of the different slices of the Jordanian Society and improving the overall quality of life. Tameer's strategic plan to ensure the low cost of residential units comes as a result of investing in construction supplies in the industrial sector, resulting in lower development costs. This has been coupled with the establishment of the 'Real Estate Loan Company' which ultimate goal is to provide long-term loan facilitation for potential residents.
