The Scene Club is a non-profit film club that showcases the best of world independent cinema, and provides a platform for film enthusiasts and the industry to come together to celebrate and discuss independent productions. Founded in 2007, The Scene Club represents a powerful shift in altering the perception of cinema in the UAE. It is the first club in Dubai that showcases uncensored independent films in their raw human form, where topics are both poignant and impactful. The club freely embraces this emotive art form that dares to be different and is rapidly growing into a networking platform for indie cinema situated at the beating heart of the community.

Vision

Create film awareness in the UAE, particularly towards independent productions. Create a monthly network for the film industry and provoke productive panel discussions, with the aim of sparking new projects through the club.
