About ENGIE Tihama Power Generation Co. Ltd.

ENGIE - Tihama Power is a joint venture company established in 2003 to provide electrical power and process steam to four of Saudi Aramco's refineries in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Our company provides Saudi Aramco with 1,600 MW of electrical power and 6.3 Million Pounds per Hour of process steam for four of its refineries at Uthmaniyah, Shedgum, Ras Tanura and Ju'aymah. The company operates four electricity and steam co-generation power plants using General Electric frame 7 gas turbines with associated steam generating industrial boilers. All the gas turbines operate on natural gas supplied from the adjacent refinery providing co-generated power and steam in return under a 20-year Energy Conversion Agreement. Engie - Tihama Power is a multicultural equal-opportunity employer having its headquarters located in Al Khobar on the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia. The company employs some 200 staff, with approximately sixty percent being Saudi National. Engie - TPGCL is an ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified organization with NEBOSH Golden Safety Award-2014 for our standards.
