What You Will Learn

  • MODULE 1. ADVANCED RESEARCH METHODS (30 Credits) - This Module develops enhanced research skills in order to work at advanced level within the interior design profession.
  • MODULE 2. INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY IN INTERIOR DESIGN (15 Credits) - This Module explores the exciting innovative products and materials that are continually entering the industry or are currently under development for use in the future.
  • MODULE 3. TREND FORECASTING IN INTERIOR DESIGN (15 Credits) - This Module is designed to increase your understanding of how trends are introduced and developed for use within the design profession by exploing the work of influential colour and trend forecasting agencies.
  • MODULE 4. CULTURAL CONTEXTS IN INTERIOR DESIGN (30 Credits) - This Module explores the wide variety of cultural influences; artistic, philosophical, literary, social and political, which determine the content and direction of interior design.
  • MODULE 5. INTERIOR DESIGN PRACTICE MANAGEMENT (30 Credits) - This Module examines the professional practice of controlling and monitoring the progress of a commercial interior design and implementation programme, using industry standard Project Management principles and systems.
  • MODULE 6. MASTERS PROJECT IN INTERIOR DESIGN (60 Credits) - The Final Project is the culmination of the Master’s Degree Programme of Study and implements the advanced knowledge and skills gained throughout the course by exploring, in real depth and with imagination and sensitivity, the psychological, emotional and environmental possibilities and constraints offered by a given site, budget and client.

NDA BA (Hons) (any subject) / BA (Hons) in Interior Designor other equivalent design-related degree subject / Equivalent International qualification in a relevant design subject / We welcome applications from mature students with a CV showing many years of experience at a senior level
