Description

Your primary objective will be to ensure that the company's mortgage lending activities adhere to established credit policies and guidelines while minimizing risk exposure. This role requires a deep understanding of credit analysis, mortgage underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
Assess creditworthiness of the clients. Monitor and analyze credit metrics and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain credit policies and underwriting guidelines for mortgage lending in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Provide guidance and support to credit analysts in assessing credit risk and making sound lending decisions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the credit management team. Collaborate with other departments, such as loan operations and compliance, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Monitor portfolio quality and delinquency trends, taking proactive measures to address emerging risks. Recommend adjustments to lending policies and procedures based on portfolio performance and market conditions. Communicate credit risk-related information and recommendations to senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders. Participate in meetings and presentations to provide updates on credit risk management activities and portfolio performance.

Requirements

● 7-9 Years of experience in Banking or Non banking financial institutions.
● Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting and/or Business Administration; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
