This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.


Our client is a well-established beauty textiles and nighttime beauty brand best known for pioneering the beauty pillowcase category. Over the past decade, the company has built a strong multi-channel presence across Sam’s Club, Costco, Macy’s, Kohl’s, TV commerce, marketplace platforms, and its own DTC ecommerce site. The brand is seeking a commercially minded eCommerce Content Specialist to optimize product detail pages (PDPs) and improve product performance across key retail and marketplace channels.

Role Overview

The eCommerce Content Specialist will own the ongoing optimization of product detail pages across key retail and marketplace accounts.


This role is focused on improving product page effectiveness through stronger content, clearer merchandising, and enhanced on-page storytelling that drives measurable product performance improvements. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in PDP optimization, digital merchandising, and ecommerce content strategy.


The role includes ownership of content optimization, creative coordination, retailer setup processes, live page reviews, and performance tracking across multiple digital retail channels.


Key ResponsibilitiesPDP Optimization & Digital Merchandising
  • Improve PDPs across Sam’s Club, Costco, TV commerce, Macy’s, Kohl’s, and marketplace channels


  • Write and optimize retailer-ready titles, bullets, descriptions, SEO keywords, image callouts, FAQ language, and product setup fields


  • Identify factors impacting product performance, including weak imagery, unclear value propositions, poor benefit hierarchy, missing education, or incomplete content


  • Improve on-page storytelling and merchandising effectiveness to support product performance


Creative Coordination & Asset Development
  • Brief designers on required visual assets including hero images, value callouts, infographics, comparison charts, and promotional creatives


  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure assets support merchandising and conversion goals


Retailer Setup & Content Management
  • Own content and merchandising elements of item setup across retailer systems


  • Manage retailer templates, product attributes, image submissions, PDP copy fields, asset uploads, setup trackers, and post-launch reviews


  • Review live pages to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and optimization quality


Performance Tracking & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Maintain weekly performance trackers showing updates, launch timing, and resulting performance impact


  • Track product page performance improvements and monitor KPI progress across channels


  • Partner with sales operations, design, account management, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure PDPs remain accurate and optimized


  • Support the rollout of optimization initiatives across active digital accounts over time


QualificationsExperience
  • 3–6 years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, marketplace management, digital shelf strategy, retail content, or PDP optimization


  • Strong experience with PDP copywriting and marketplace content optimization


  • Experience working with designers or creative teams


  • Experience tracking SKU-level performance and conducting basic performance analysis


  • Experience within beauty, personal care, home, textiles, bedding, or similar consumer categories preferred


  • Familiarity with platforms such as Sam’s Club, Costco.com, Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Amazon, Mirakl, DSCO, CommerceHub, or Scene7 preferred


Skills
  • Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of performance-driven digital merchandising


  • Strong copywriting abilities with the ability to translate product features into customer-focused benefits


  • Ability to diagnose underperforming product pages and identify optimization opportunities


  • Comfortable working within retailer systems, ecommerce platforms, item setup templates, asset folders, and tracking systems


  • Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills


  • Ability to manage multiple projects and optimization initiatives simultaneously


  • Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment focused on measurable performance outcomes
