Job Requirements Organon Egypt is looking for
10 interns to focus on expanding the commercial portfolio business and exploring new Over-The-Counter (OTC) opportunities within new potential accounts in different uncovered areas aligning with our Egypt commercial priorities.
About the internship:
The Commercial Operation priorities in Egypt aimed to maximize our portfolio business through assessing the current situation for key accounts, expanding the coverage to new areas and territories, capturing new opportunities, conduct a competitive analysis while continuous checking for the market feedback and monitoring for its dynamics, this going with full alignment and cross functional collaboration with sales, marketing & distribution teams.
Internship duration is 2 full months (July and August)
Learning outcomes:
As an intern, he/she will play crucial role in maximizing Organon commercial portfolio business, expanding the OTC campaign opportunities by developing various skills and acquiring informative knowledge with deep understanding for the pharmaceutical market dynamics in Egypt by:
Exposure to Organon culture of learning and empowerment of future leaders. Profound understanding of commercial strategy with learning and application of specific tailored tactics to each account. Learning different ways of identifying key accounts, conducting account segmentation and mapping exercises. Development of pivotal interpersonal skills like, agility, networking, communication, time management and cross functional collaboration skills. Improvement of data analysis, and project management needed in account management. Embrace new ways of thinking, portfolio selling and creative ways of problem solving. Reporting to Commercial Trade Channel Managers, have the chance to be closely monitored and regularly receiving structured developmental feedback and insights. Discover new strength areas and ones to be developed in order to be ready to take their first step in their professional career.
The Task:
The intern will work on 3 main pillars:
OTC Marketing campaigns execution:
Expand the number of customers joining OTC campaign through the geographical expansion of new territories. Collecting market feedback about OTC campaign, plus any current or future competitive activities. Pave the road for future OTC campaign, getting feedback about competitor activities.
Established brands:
Identifying new potential customers within uncovered areas. Identifying major contracts and contracted accounts within new areas. Follow-up and monitoring for sales, stocks and Ministry of Health’s at customers’ site. Handling for customers’ requests and orders, building a solid partnership.
Women Health Portfolio:
Identifying new potential customers for Women Health business. Collect competitive data regarding new Women Health product introduction such as market feedback, competition, and activities.
Work Experience
Have a solid medical background with passion to pursue commercial career. Self-motivated, with high ability to learn. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders. Ability to work in the field independently, prioritize the tasks and successfully meet the deadlines. Year 3 and year 4 Pharma background students with graduation years 2025 -2026 Welcoming students from diverse governorates across Egypt preferably: Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Dakahlia, Assiut, Red Sea
