Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
  • Overseeing the taxation affairs of the company and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
  • Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the company is compliant with accounting standard
  • Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems i.e. ERP
  • Contribute to the company’s overall business objectives and guide on financial position
  • To provide strategic financial insights to ensure that all business objectives are met
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedule
  • Produce timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Presenting results to non-finance stakeholders
  • Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury, payroll, financial and management accounting functions
  • Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of staff
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and control
